Annual Feast

The Feast of the Holy Rosary

In the Catholic Church tradition, the entire month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary. This month long observance is largely due to the liturgical Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary celebrated on October 7th.The devotees of mother Mary at Rose Hill shrine celebrated the Feast remarkably under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Kondala Joseph the Director. On this special day we Ross Hill community organized a Marian Convention, because of the haunting COVID-19 we did not encourage a big gathering in spite of this there were a good number of devotees of all religions. The day began with Eucharistic celebration at 6:00 o’clock in English by Rev.Fr. Thomas Pullat, at 9:15 began the Marian Convention with Holy Rosary , at 10:30 Holy adoration and talk led by Rev. Fr.Yugal Kumar the Parish Priest of Koduru in which he emphasized the role of Mother Mary in the history of salvation , followed by solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Rev.Fr Suresh Babu the Provincial superior of Vishakhapatnam province and assisted by many other Fathers ,Fr.Rajesh the Provincial secretary preached the Homily . Soon after the Eucharistic celebration there was a procession with Mother Mary statue from Grotto to the church. As a gift from the Ross Hill Church and the tradition every participant was given a Rosary. After a small break again there were masses at 3 o’clock by Rev.Fr.Joseph Kondala and 5 o’clock by Fr.Dileep kumar. The celebrations went on up to 8:00 o'clock. As a whole it was a remarkable And meaningful celebration. We specially thank all those who collaborated With us to make this day Meaningful.
